It’s an exercise that most people can do – regardless of age and/or physical condition.

I started rebounding 4-5 years ago and I find it actually fun! It’s easy to get in a 30-60 minute workout with little sweat (literally). But don’t let that fool you – rebounding is very beneficial to all parts of your body and it actually reframes your thinking to a more positive state. I usually rebound while watching TV. When I do it in the morning, before work, I can catch up with the latest news. If I do it in the evening, I can do it while watching my favorite sitcoms or listening to music. The great thing about rebounding is that it’s quite – no need to crank up the volume on the TV and disturb others in your household. And the time just flies – time really does fly when you’re having fun.

Of course I did more research after I purchased my Urban Rebounder (which I purchased for its stabilizing bar, DVD workout and durability). I was finding out that I wasn’t sweating while working out. So – I was wondering if I was truly getting the full effect while I was exercising. The more I researched the more I found out that you do NOT need to sweat while getting a great cardio core workout rebounding. Tons of benefits can be had for just a 20 minute workout.

Some of the main benefits are:

  •  Rebounding protects your joints, since you are not exercising on a hard surface
  •  Rebounding is a proven way to lose weight
  •  Rebounding is beneficial to the lymphatic circulation system – the system helps fight current diseases by disposing of antigens. It also helps fight future diseases
  • Rebounding pumps more oxygen through your body
  • Rebounding steadily increases your metabolism – this Is beneficial since an increased metabolism actually burns more calories even when you are at rest
  •  Rebounding also improves the efficiency of your heart by making your heart beat less when you are at rest
  •  Rebounding works and improves and strengthens most muscles in the body simultaneously to make them more efficient
  •  Rebounding improves sleep
  •  Rebounding improves mental performance
  •  Rebounding improves balance

And maybe the most important part of rebounding is that it’s FUN and has a positive effect on your well-being.
